PG County Police have issued an alert for an escaped prisoner. Be sure to keep your homes secure and talk with your children, too. Follow instructions given by police below.

on 06/11/12 at 11:05 am inthe 8700 block of Contee Road, Laurel, MD

The above subject escaped from the custody of the Maryland State Division of Corrections while on a supervised work detail in the area of Muirkirk Road and Laurel Bowie Road in Laurel, MD. The subject should beconsidered armed and dangerous. If seen, call 911 immediately. DO NOT APPROACH THE SUBJECT.
