It was a beautiful Fall day for the first Montpelier Fall Festival. Kids enjoyed sack races, pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, scarecrow making, bean bag toss, and some real “trunk” and treating, but the hayride may have been the most popular activity.
Every seat was taken on the hayride, but everyone got a ride before the day was done. You may have seen (or heard) them as they made their way through the streets of Montpelier.
Kids (and adults) were amazed at the goodies available at the Cake Walk–three tables loaded with cakes, cupcakes, cookies, muffins and more. It was so hard to decide what to take home.
